Yersinia pestis is a gram negative coccobacillus bacteria. It is a facultative anaerobe that can infect humans causing plague of which there are three main forms: pneumonic, septicemic and bubonic. Infection can occur via the oriental rat flea. This antibody can detect Yersinia pestis whether or not it has been grown in conditions conducive where the F1 antigen could be present - unlike most immuno assays which are based on the detection of F1.

The Zip family of zinc transporter proteins have been identified as crucial for the cellular uptake and accumulation of zinc from extracellular fluid in mammalian cells. Zip1 has been demonstrated to be involved in zinc uptake in prostate cells. The Zip3 protein is encoded by the SLC30A6 gene and has been observed to be silenced in adenocarcinoma.

The Dishevelled gene family consists of three members, Dvl-1, Dvl-2 and Dvl-3, and are components of the Wnt signalling pathway. The Dvl proteins have been implicated in tumorigenesis, embryogenesis, cell fate decisions during development, and changes in cell morphology. The mammalian dishevelled proteins contain three homologous domains and two remain unrelated to any other known protein. DVL3 has been shown to interact with DVL1, PRPF3 and Disabled homolog 2 (DAB2).

DVL2 has been shown to interact with several proteins including DAB2, Arrestin beta 1 and Zinc finger protein 165.

Reactivity: Chicken, Human, Mouse and Rabbit

Antibody NH3 has been shown to recognize actin. The epitope recognized is preserved across species (mouse, rabbit and human) and for different isoforms. Preliminary studies suggest that the epitope may be located between residues 120 and 226 of actin. The antibody reacts with the cytoplasm of all cell lines tested and with the cell surface of cell lines of B-cell origin. NH3 therefore represents a useful probe for the localization of actin and the study of its interaction with other molecules.

Tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), also known as cachectin, has been shown to play a role in antitumor activity, immune modulation, inflammation, anorexia, cachexia, septic shock, viral replication, and hematopoiesis. Four Tumor necrosis factor-α molecules are found in Salmon and Trout; TNFa1, TNFa2, TNFa3 and TNFa4. This antibody is specific to TNFa1 and TNFa2.

LH24 targets the basement membrane zone of keratinocytes, specifically Type VII Collagen non-collagenous domain 2. Type VII collagen and anchoring fibril deficiencies in skin biopsy samples were confirmed by immunofluorescence microscopy and immunoelectron microscopy using the LH24 antibody.
